Year 12 and Year 13 students are simultaneously studying the Experience of World War One.

Wiki Research Project Overview - DEADLINES.
Friday 24th October: I expect to see progress made on each wiki page by each student made during the lessons in my absence.
▪ Sunday 2nd November: Each student completes their wiki page on their chosen theme ready for use by other students.

▪ Monday 10th November: Each year 13 student submits an essay on "What was the significance of World War One?" using the wiki pages produced by other students (as well as relevant textbooks) to help them.

TIPS FOR YOUR WIKI: As far as is possible...

▪ Refer up to 1929 (ie longer term effects as well as shorter term)
▪ Refer to a range of countries / regions – not just Britain / Western Front
▪ Refer to both positive and negative effects
▪ Refer to evidence of change and continuity

General Recommended Weblinks (PLEASE NOTE: These websites are excellent, and you should go through each to see if there is anything you can use within them. In addition, you should also make use of any textbooks you have been issued with. Remember that if you don't research your own topic thoroughly then you are ultimately creating more work for everyone else in the group when they come to write their essays, which isn't fair).
