Plan of the Investigation (100-150 Words) [Tips]

This study will seek to answer the question ‘to what extent did the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb revolutionise our understanding of ancient Egypt?’ I chose this question because I am interested in the history of ancient Egypt and Art throughout time. This topic was important in the November of 1922 because the archaeologists had uncovered the most intact tomb in the Valley of the Kings ever found up until that point. The topic is still important today because historians are continuously reanalysing the contents retrieved from the tomb and the Mummy itself to see if they can gather any new understanding of ancient Egyptian practices. Although it has been many decades since the discovery of the tomb, it still remains as a constant reminder of the need to conserve the past and not destroy it.
